LYNCHBURG, VA – Electronic Design & Manufacturing has appointed Bree Oldham as president and CEO to replace Georgeann Snead, who retired at the end of 2023.
Oldham joined EDM in 2019 and previously served as CFO. In addition to her role as CFO, she has had oversight of several of EDM’s critical functions including materials, manufacturing operations and HR during her tenure. She earlier served as CFO at Smith Mountain industries and held an accounting analyst role at Uni-Select, Inc.
"While I have big shoes to fill with Georgeann’s retirement, this has been a carefully planned transition over the last two years," Oldham said. "During that time, I’ve led operational improvement initiatives and our strategic building expansion. These enhancements are critical to EDM’s ability to deliver superior value to our customers. I spent the first decade of my career leading technology systems improvements and implementations to enhance the organizations in which I served. I plan to continue strong organizational focus on systems enhancements and operational excellence to solve our customers’ biggest challenges."
Oldham received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Art History and Spanish Literature from the University of Virginia. She sits on the Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) Advisory Curriculum Board and the Lynchburg Humane Society Board.
