General Microcircuits to Close EMS Ops in North Carolina

MOORESVILLE, NC -- General Microcircuits, a subsidiary of East West Manufacturing, will close this year and lay off about 100 workers, according to a mandatory government filing.
Layoffs at the EMS company will begin in April, and will total 97, per the filing.
East West Manufacturing acquired General Microcircuits in 2019. The company was founded in 1980.
