BAC NINH, VIETNAM -- Foxconn will invest some $383 million in a printed circuit board manufacturing plant here, according to published reports.

Government official this week said the EMS/ODM will site the plant in Bac Ninh province. The high volume production facility will have a capacity of about 2.8 million units annually.

Foxconn has invested more than $3.2 billion in Vietnam, primarily in Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces.

Foxconn is the world's largest according to the CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY Top 50.
