TÄBY, SWEDEN – Mycronic reported net sales of SEK1.5 billion ($141.5 million) for the second quarter, an increase of 23% from last year's second quarter.

For the first half of the year, the company's sales of SEK3.2 billion ($301.9 million) marked a 31% increase.

The company also raised its projection for full-year sales from SEK6.25 billion ($589.7 million) to SEK6.5 billion ($613.3 million).

"Order intake increased 22% during the second quarter, driven mainly by Pattern Generators and with positive contributions from High Flex and High Volume," said CEO Anders Lindqvist. "Net sales also posted a strong trend, with an increase of 23%. EBIT more than doubled to SEK348 million, corresponding to an EBIT margin of 23%.
