LAGRANGE, OH – Vexos is reportedly closing its manufacturing facility here and laying off more than 60 workers.
The plant, located in northern Ohio, is set to close by the end of the year, according to a notice Vexos sent to Ohio's Department of Job and Family Services. According to the notice, 46 of the plant’s 62 employees will be laid off on Oct. 1, and another 15 will be asked to stay on the job to help close the facility. One employee will stay with the company after the plant closes.
Vexos' LaGrange facility is a full turnkey provider, offering printed circuit board assembly, mechanical assembly, test, box build and shipping. The company added 16,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space to the facility in 2022, and in 2021, the company doubled its PCBA manufacturing capacity with new equipment.
