SENAI, MALAYSIA – VS Industry announced full-year revenue of MYR4.25 billion ($1 billion), a decrease of 7.3% from its previous fiscal year.

For the company's fourth quarter, VSI reported MYR1.2 billion ($289 million) in revenue, marking an increase of 5% from last year's fourth quarter.

The company said the decline in annual revenue was primarily due to lower orders from a key customer, but it was partially offset by higher revenue from Singapore and Indonesia. Sales orders from other key customers continued to pick up in tandem with improved consumer sentiments and new model launches, and the company said it believes this positive trend will continue into its new financial year.
