HONG KONG – Valuetronics reported revenue of HK862.1 million ($110 million) for the first half of the year, down 3.3% year-over-year.
The company said the decrease came from lower volumes in its consumer electronics segment, but it still posted a 10.2% increase in earnings for the period due to an added customer.
"Notably, there was encouraging revenue contribution from our new Canada-based ICE customer that we acquired in FY2024," said chairman and managing director Ricky Tse Chong Hing. "Together with other new customers acquired in the past two years, these revenue streams offset reduced demand from a CE customer that is focused on traditional consumer lifestyle products."
