BIÑAN, PHILIPPINES – Integrated Micro-Electronics has announced the closure of its Chengdu, China, manufacturing facility as part of its ongoing efforts to streamline operations and reduce costs.

 

The move comes as the company works to consolidate its footprint into strategically located facilities, and production at IMI Chengdu concluded in December 2024 with all customer commitments successfully met, the company said.

IMI said it will complete the transfer of assets and equipment by the end of January 2025 as part of the closure process, and it is complying with local government regulations by initiating a six-month winding up period starting in February 2025.
