CORTANA, ITALY -- A fire broke out last night at MB Elettronica's electronics manufacturing plant here.

No injuries were reported from the blaze, which started and was mainly contained to a warehouse of Plant 2.

On July 13, Scanfil announced it would acquire MB Elettronica, with closing expected during the fourth quarter this year.

MB Elettronica is currently assessing the full extent of the damage and minimize any disruptions to operations, Scanfil said.
