ANN ARBOR, MI – Coherix is expanding its North American manufacturing and product development operations, investing nearly $1 million to support surging demand for its AI-driven precision dispensing and quality-control systems used in automotive and electronics assembly.
The company will relocate its headquarters and production to a new 25,000-square-foot facility at 1168 Oak Valley Drive in Ann Arbor by the end of 2025. The move will increase manufacturing space, add new engineering labs, and provide room for 10 to 15 additional engineering and product-development roles over the next year.
The new Innovation Center will include 10 robot stations equipped for real-time dispensing inspection, training areas, and a service hub for customer demonstrations.
Coherix is partnering with Eastern Michigan University, the Engineering and Manufacturing Alliance and additional trade groups on training and advanced manufacturing research. A new $385,000 Coherix grant will fund a three-year EMU initiative focused on “factory-of-the-future” adhesive-dispensing technology.
