KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – V.S. Industry Berhad reported second-quarter revenue of $163 million for the period ended Jan. 31, 2026, down 15% from $193 million in the prior-year quarter, as the electronics manufacturing services provider swung to a loss.
The company posted a net loss of $6.3 million for the quarter, compared with net profit of $3.2 million a year earlier. Loss attributable to shareholders totaled $6.2 million, versus profit of $3.3 million in the same period last year.
For the first half of the fiscal year, revenue reached $392 million, down from $428 million in the corresponding period. Net profit for the six-month period declined to $0.09 million, compared with $9.3 million a year ago.
Pre-tax results also weakened, with the company reporting a quarterly loss of $5.9 million compared with a pre-tax profit of $5.6 million in the prior year.
The earnings decline reflects softer demand and margin pressure during the period. The company reported no dividend for the quarter.
