FREUDENSTADT -- Schmid Group reported preliminary second-quarter revenue of $32 million on equipment order intake of approximately $35 million, citing continued improvement in demand across the electronics industry.

Year-to-date equipment orders reached approximately $95 million, including a previously announced repeat order valued at more than $43 million, while the company's equipment order backlog stood at approximately $64 million at the end of the quarter.

Based on sustained order momentum, Schmid raised its full-year 2026 equipment order intake guidance to $146 million–$175 million, up from approximately $133 million, while reaffirming revenue guidance of more than $117 million. The company also closed a $20 million convertible note financing that will support working capital and expansion of its manufacturing facility in China.
