FORT WORTH, TX -- Foxlink Group has opened its first AI Factory in the United States, launching a new advanced manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX, as part of its strategy to integrate artificial intelligence into electronics manufacturing operations.
The company said the facility represents a shift from its traditional role as an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider toward an AI-enabled manufacturing model. The AI Factory combines large-scale GPU computing infrastructure with AI-driven robotics and automation to improve production flexibility, reduce changeover costs and optimize factory operations.
Foxlink is introducing the AI Factory model in phases across surface mount technology (SMT) and final assembly, testing and packaging (FATP) processes. The company said the Texas site is designed to support growing North American demand for localized manufacturing and more resilient supply chains.
CEO Freddy Kuo said the company is leveraging decades of manufacturing experience to transform its factories through AI, with the long-term goal of helping manufacturers develop their own AI-enabled production capabilities.
