ST. ALBANS, HERTFORDSHIRE, UK -- The ITRI Tin Supply Chain Initiative has rolled out new software for capturing data for the purposes of tracking raw minerals ultimately used in electronics manufacturing. The new tool is designed to help track minerals as part of iTSCi's due diligence program.

LAGUNA, PHILIPPINES – Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. reported net income jumped 72% to $3.2 million for the third quarter ended Sept. 30. Net sales were $196.6 million, the company's best quarter this year, up 15.5% from 2012.
SON, THE NETHERLANDS -- Neways Electronics said third-quarter electronics manufacturing services continued to pick up as backlogs and profits were up. Profitability rose despite a 1.6% drop in sales from the third quarter of 2012, to EUR 68.4 million ($92.5 million).
ST. LOUIS -- Viasystems reported Net sales and operating income in the company’s assembly segment were $52.4 million and $800,000, respectively, down 9.5% and 50%, from the third quarter 2012. The segment had an operating loss of $100,000 on net sales of $44.9 million in the June quarter.
