STRATHAM, NH – Vitronics-Soltec today named Aaron Saxton president, effective March 19. He is a executive with Universal Instruments, where he ran its Chinese manufacturing operations in Shekou, China.
The company had no comment on former president Eric Tobiason.

In a statement, Jean-Luc Pelissier, executive chairman of CBA group, a Francisco Partners company, praised Saxton's leadership in operational management. "His demonstrated success developing new markets and managing manufacturing in China will be an asset to Vitronics Soltec. His past experience both as user and manufacturer will be invaluable for the company."

Saxton will be based in the company's Stratham, NH, offices.

Saxton led Universal's AdVantis Platforms ran its Shekou manufacturing operations from 2002 to 2007. He has prior experience managing the Universal's OEM program, and from 1995 to 1999 was in operations, marketing, engineering and supply chain management at Lockheed Martin. He has a master's in industrial engineering from Rutgers University.
