NEENAH, WIPlexus Corp. said that F. Gordon Bitter will retire from his role as senior vice president and chief financial officer this year.

The board of the contract electronics manufacturer has named Ginger Jones, 42, vice president-finance, as his successor.

Jones joined Plexus in April after serving as vice president, corporate controller for five years at Banta Corp., also Neenah-based.

Plexus CEO Dean Foate said that Bitter, 64, has been "instrumental" in supporting Plexus' annual revenue growth of 18% the past five years.
