SAN JOSE – Worldwide semiconductor manufacturing equipment billings reached $10.8 billion in the first quarter, SEMI today reported. This is 4% higher than the fourth quarter of 2006 and about 12% above the same quarter last year.
Worldwide semiconductor equipment bookings were $10.5 billion in the first quarter, 6% above last year and down 5% sequentially.
SAN BRUNO, CA – Worldwide Manufacturing USA Inc., a contract electronics manufacturer, announced that revenues increased 17% in the first quarter over last year.
Revenues were $2.8 million compared to $2.4 million year-over-year. Net income was $117,310 compared to $42,132 in 2006.
The increase in both revenues and profit was attributed to greater demand for the company's products and services.

MILPITAS, CA — Flextronics has signed a five-year deal to lease 100,103 sq. ft. at an industrial complex in Milpitas, effective next month. The company has not disclosed its intentions for the facility.
The EMS company will occupy about 60% of the 168,000-sq. ft. foot building.
