GOLDEN, CO – Creation Technologies has relocated its Colorado design center to a larger facility here. The 16,000 sq. ft. center features dedicated labs for each of Creation's engineering disciplines, including optical and imaging, electrical, mechanical, industrial, fluidics and software development.

MALMO, SWEDEN – PartnerTech posted net sales in the first quarter of 2014 of SEK 548 million, down 1% year-over-year. The contract electronics manufacturer reported a post-tax loss of SEK 2 million, compared to profit after tax of SEK 2 million in the same period last year.

SAN JOSE – North America-based manufacturers of semiconductor equipment posted $1.28 billion in orders worldwide in March, up 16.1% year-over-year, and down 1.2% sequentially, says SEMI. The figures are based on a three-month average basis.

GLENVIEW, IL – Illinois Tool Works today reported first-quarter 2014 revenues up 4% year-over-year to $3.6 billion. Operating income increased 16% to $667 million.
