BRUSSELS – Despite the adoption of the European Chips Act, the EU’s market share in critical electronics components beyond chips, including PCBs, EMS and advanced packaging, will decline to 15% by 2035, according to a new IPC report.
WASHINGTON – Global semiconductor industry sales were $46.4 billion in April, an increase of 15.8% compared to the April 2023 total of $40.1 billion and 1.1% more than the March 2024 total of $45.9 billion, SIA announced.
MILPITAS, CA – Global semiconductor equipment billings contracted 2% year-over-year to $26.4 billion in the first quarter, while quarter-over-quarter billings dropped 6% during the same period, SEMI announced in its Worldwide Semiconductor Equipment Market Statistics (WWSEMS) Report.
