WASHINGTON, DC – Worldwide sales of semiconductors reached $25.53 billion for July 2013, the highest total of 2013 and an increase of 5.1% over July 2012. Sales were up 2.6% sequentially, says the Semiconductor Industry Association.
HANOVER, GERMANY – Incoming orders in the first half were the strongest in Viscom’s history, the firm says. In the first six months, Viscom received orders totaling €25.3 million, up 16.7 % compared to the previous year, buoyed by ongoing strength in the Americas and Asia.
OSLO, NORWAY -- ODM World Wide Touch Technology (Holdings) Ltd. has acquired a 2.2% stake in IDEX for $5 million, the companies announced. The stake boosts WWTT's push into biometrics, an area that the contract assembler has an OEM product line.
