TAIPEI – Dr. Jennie S. Hwang delivered keynote speeches on renewable energy and global competitiveness at Hsinchu Industrial Technology Research Institute, National Taiwan University and National Central University during a recent trip to Taiwan.
Hwang, a veteran electronics manufacturing engineer, executive and inventor, presented Renewable Energy, Smart Grid and Sustainable Energy Model and Innovation, Leadership and Entrepreneurship – Global Competitiveness.
Hwang was the first Asian-American woman elected to the U.S. National Academy of Engineering.
FORT BELVOIR, VA – A General Dynamics business unit has been awarded a $15.6 million five-year contract to support the Department of Defense’s Defense Acquisition University.
General Dynamics Information Technology will provide support to the DAU learning asset program, which governs the technology and curriculum used to teach students via Internet or in the classroom.
Services provided include program office support, as well as technical expertise in developing and sustaining learning asset lifecycle processes, tools and best practices support.
General Dynamics will provide enterprise solutions in the areas of learning management systems, analysis and learning asset configuration management, and distance learning.
