Select Coat SC-280 is for automated and selective conformal coating application. Reportedly provides greater than 99% fluid transfer efficiency. Is said to minimize overspray, masking, and rework. Applies controlled, uniform film under low pressure through dispenser and dispensing nozzle. Has a single valve design and comes in two versions: circulating (SC-280C) and non-circulating (SC-280N). Handles viscosities less than 100 centipoise. Coating thicknesses range from 0.0005” to 0.008” for solvent-based materials. Cross-cut nozzles are available to dispense film pattern widths from 6 to 19 mm. Each nozzle delivers edge definition with a tolerance of ± 0.75 mm. Has a 0 to 90° rotating axis.
