BERMATINGEN, GERMANY – Rohwedder AG will acquire JOT Automation from Elektrobit Corp. for 29 million euros, less contingencies covering JOT's interest-bearing liabilities and its financial performance in 2007 and 2008. 
 
The deal includes all JOT’s testing and automation subsidiaries in several regions, plus its 392 employees.
 
In 2006, JOT turned an operating profit on sales of 61 million euros.

On May 30, Rohwedder Group reported first quarter sales of 23.8 million euros, down from 25.5 million euros a year ago.
 
Rohwedder employs 600 workers.
