For three days in September, Benelux-based SMT equipment distribution specialist SMANS will host an Open House event for its existing and potential customers. While this popular event has taken place annually, this is the first since the new management team completed a buyout in October last year.

Previous Open House events at SMANS have allowed visitors to review the ranges of assembly equipment available, discuss their assembly requirements, enjoy live demonstrations and meet with the company’s sales and support personnel. This year’s event promises all that too, but adds the perfect opportunity to talk directly to the new owners: Sales Director Aad Vermaat, Technical Director Nick Janssens and CEO Jan Van Lieshout. Attendees will learn how the dynamic new management team plans to drive the company forward and create additional value for its customers.

“We are looking forward to building on the success of these events in past years,” explains Aad Vermaat. “As well as an impressive portfolio of top product brands for every critical stage of the surface mount assembly process, we also provide exemplary field service and support. Over 50% of our people are dedicated to customer support functions – and that will continue as we look to add value to our growing customer base.”

Among the ranges of complementary surface mount assembly solutions and cable & wire equipment on display at the September Open House will be a likely star of the show – the ultra-flexible atom3 placement machine from Europlacer. This will be the first opportunity for visitors to see the multi-award-winning atom platform in Europe since its launch at Productronica last November. SMANS has been Europlacer’s exclusive distribution partner in the Benelux territories for more than 20 years.

The SMANS Open Day takes place from Tuesday 18th to Thursday 20th September 2018 at the company’s smart premises in Turnhout, Belgium. Visitors are invited to register their interest on the SMANS website at www.smans.com.
