San Diego — August 2018 — KIC today announced that, as part of the company’s ongoing effort to improve product development and to execute its long-term product roadmap, R&D Manager Ryan Wilshusen is taking over leadership of the Product Management (PM) group. Tom Bergeron is the Product Manager for KIC projects related to improving the company’s current product offerings, while Miles Moreau, Global Manager – Products & Technologies, is working with the marketplace and internal KIC team to define the company's product and technology roadmap.

Wilshusen brings to this position a superior understanding of technologies and invention-insight that will help KIC produce better and more effective technical solutions. The change takes effect immediately and at the perfect time for KIC, as the industry is in the early phases of investing in smart factory technologies.

KIC’s President Bjorn Dahle states: “For years we have offered products far more advanced than what the average customer wanted. Now, we need to accelerate our product development considerably in order to accommodate the market needs, and to stay ahead of the curve. With Ryan leading both R&D and PM, we should be well positioned to continue making serious headway.”

Wilshusen joined KIC in 2016 with more than 16 years of experience as an electrical engineer with respected companies, such as HP, and various industries, including medical, industrial, aviation and consumer. Wilshusen has demonstrated strong management capabilities with a consistent track record of anticipating consequences of new designs, initiating solutions, and completing specifications on the first attempt.

Move toward the future of line connectivity, flexible production, process transparency, machine learning and real-time insight with KIC. For more information about KIC, visit www.kicthermal.com.
