Chino, CA — November 2018 — Scienscope International, a leading American supplier of cabinet style micro-focus X-ray systems, is pleased to announce that Precision Graphics Inc. purchased an AXC-800 Component Counter and X-Scope 1800 X-ray system. A NJ-based contract electronics manufacturing provider, Precision Graphics has more than 45 years of experience in design, layout and manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies.
The AXC-800 offers medium volume users, or those not requiring automation, the ability to accurately maintain component inventory while saving more than 70 percent of the labor associated with this tedious task. It is capable of counting four 7” reels simultaneously in 40 seconds or less. It also is capable of counting components in a variety of packaging methods.
With the X-Scope 1800, Precision Graphics can inspect large format PCBs with a large inspection area and up to 50° oblique angle inspection. The X-Scope 1800 features a high power micro-focus X-ray tube and 4 x 3” high-resolution CMOS digital flat panel image detector. Additionally, the best-in-class, simplified software and color mapping camera with zoom window enable easy location and identification of faults.
Precision Graphics Vice President Alec Weissman commented, “Last year we upgraded our inventory management with the addition of Scienscope’s AXC-800 X-ray component counter which helped our efficiency in a number of ways. When we needed to add a new X-ray inspection system, Scienscope’s X-Scope 1800 was a natural choice. It offered us great value and the software tools we needed to add to our inspection process.”
