Kimball Electronics is being recognized for workplace safety and health.

Kimball Electronics Group of Jasper has received STAR recertification in the Indiana Voluntary Protection Program.

The Kimball Electronics facility is part of a select group of workplaces that have exceeded occupational safety and health.

The company has also demonstrated its commitment to putting the well-being of Hoosier workers first.

The STAR status is part of the Voluntary Protection Program, which recognizes Hoosier employers who exceed workplace safety and health expectations.

The Jasper facility has limited and eliminated workplace incidents over the past three years, having only a few incidents per year.

The facility’s three-year total case incident rate is 10% below the 2016 national average.

Kimball Electronics’ Jasper manufacturing location was established in 1961 to build electronic organs. It offers complete product lifecycle support for electronic manufacturing assemblies in the medical, industrial, automotive, and public safety market segments.

The facility houses a workforce of more than 500 employees.
