On the 20th of March 2019, as the world celebrated the ‘Spring equinox’, leading UK based Electronics Manufacturing Service Provider (EMS), SMS – Smart Made Simple, also celebrated ‘new beginnings’ with the appointment of Matt Carefoot as Purchasing Manager.

Matt brings 19 years of experience within a supply chain environment to SMS – Smart Made Simple, with knowledge gained through working his way up the management structure within large multinationals such as the Vaillant Group and regional organisations such as SIG Building Systems Ltd.
 
These environments have equipped Matt with a unique understanding of how companies of varying size and geographical coverage function, and how they operate their planning and buying departments in accordance with their customer and market demand.
 
On his appointment Matt commented:

Matt holds an MCIPS in Purchasing and Supply from the University of Derby and a Batchelor of Arts in Business Studies from Staffordshire University.
