SHINGLE SPRINGS, CA — PDR, founded in 1985, and today a leading manufacturer of BGA rework systems and X-ray systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of TechSystems as its newest manufacturers’ representative. Under the agreement, Chris Putney, President of TechSystems, will represent PDR’s SMD/BGA Rework and X-ray systems throughout Northern California.

TechSystems has been a manufacturers’ representative for electronics assembly equipment in Northern California for more than 30 years. The company provides complete installation, training, applications and machine repair. The team’s combined technical support background includes placement equipment, wave soldering, cleaning, reflow, rework, AOI SPI and X-ray inspection systems, programming and component packaging.

TechSystems now offers both PDR IR Rework Stations and PDR X-ray Inspection Systems. PDR IR Rework Ssystems have become the industry standard for high quality – high yield PCB rework.
