MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The SMTA is excited to announce the technical program for the Counterfeit Electronics & Materials Symposium. The symposium will be held 15-16 April 2025 at AFC Wimbledon in London, England.

The technical program consists of expert speakers who dive into the impact of counterfeit electronic parts on the supply chain.

Increasing the scope of counterfeit material presentations, this symposium focuses on the solutions that are available and are in development by all sectors of the industry. Speakers will address standards, accreditation, risks, and advanced technologies, while emphasizing supply chain security, sustainability, and cutting-edge techniques for detection and protection in the industry.

On Tuesday, 15 April 2025, Daniel Grundy, Jaguar Land Rover, will keynote with his presentation, “The Intersection Between Obsolescence and Counterfeits.” The keynote on the second day of the conference, Wednesday, 16 April 2025, is Miles Rees, Intellectual Property Office (IPO) of the United Kingdom, who will present, “The Intellectual Property Office’s Counter-Infringement Strategy.”

Registration for this event is open. Included in the registration fee are all technical sessions, AFC Wimbledon Stadium tour, symposium proceedings, refreshments, lunch during event dates, and reception.
