January 2026 ― Cranston, Rhode Island USA – AIM Solder, a leading global manufacturer of solder assembly materials for the electronics industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Angel Lopez as Technical Support Engineer.

Angel will cover the western parts of the US and Canada and the US-Mexico border area from Juarez to Baja.

Angel holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering. He brings several years of experience supporting electronic manufacturing operations throughout the United States and Mexico. In previous roles, Angel provided direct technical support to customers. This included assisting with process troubleshooting, optimization, new product introductions, and pilot builds. His hands-on experience with SMT production equipment—including screen printers, SPI, AOI, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, wave solder systems, and X-ray inspection—equips him to address a wide range of manufacturing challenges. Angel is knowledgeable about IPC standards and uses statistical process analysis to help customers achieve consistent, high-quality results.
