The Datron IVS is housed in a metal chassis. Is mounted to the Z-axis of machining centers. Said to identify fiducials within a 20 mm area; feeds offset data into Windows-based software. Can automatically adjust for skew or image-to-edge variance. In instances where a fiducial or crop mark is not found, the program pauses and gives the option of aborting or retrying. Pins ensure the part is on the fixture properly. Reportedly reduces and compensates for improper setups. The YTV M1m AOI system includes a 3 MP thin camera and Fusion lighting. Flexible silicone conformal coating is said to be fast drying and designed to protect PCBs exposed to high humidity environments. Is available in 400 ml aerosol and a 5-l bulk container. Adheres to a variety of substrates and fluoresces under UV light for ease of inspection. Has an operating temperature ranging from -50° to +125°C. Reportedly is dry to touch at 20°C in 10 to 15 min. Contains no isocyan ates.
High-performance sockets designed for Pb-free BGA devices are available for any 0.8 pitch BGA device under 169 pins. Are designed for device programming and said to have a load cycle rating of 50,000 insertions. Can be used on universal and new Flashstream programming hardware. Reportedly have lower tooling cost per inserted device compared to standard burn-in test sockets and last up to 10 times longer.
