RoBat Introduces RCI Robotic Controlled Impedance Tester

RCI robotic controlled impedance tester has automatic optical inspection and automatic fixtureless controlled impedance testing.
Key features include automatic TDR, TDT, S-parameter testing – in production volume quantities; tests every type of backplane (small/large, simple/complex); tests every type of connector, with no pin pitch or pin quantity limits; and tests double-sided boards sized 1400 x 700mm up to 1.6 x 1m). AOI automatically aligns mating part with individual connectors to avoid damage. Changes over in minutes. Tooling (fixture) cost averages <$1000 per board type. Program and operate typically <2 days. Optional single- or double-sided operation.
