3D-Twin-Nozzle for ZEVA selective soldering has two nozzle diameters combined in one nozzle. Makes it possible to solder board with fine pitch and multiple row connectors without stopping for tooling changes. Software defines by recipe how board is tilted and what rotation angle of solder pot should be using selected nozzle. Integrated between two nozzles is solder drainage conditioner that blows hot nitrogen to prevent bridging. Nozzle is 3-D printed out of stainless steel and is then hard chromized. Combination of metal and treatment prevents nozzle from wear; is reportedly maintenance-free. Doesn’t oxidize.
