Molex Adds NearStack 100 Ohm, 85 Ohm Cable Assembly
NearStack 100 Ohm and NearStack 85 Ohm high-speed cable assembly help reduce insertion loss and improve signal integrity.
Optimize signal integrity channel performance with direct linkage, bypassing board traces and use of lower loss materials. Remove re-timers and other active components from high-speed channels and reduce numbers of high-speed layers. NearStack 100 Ohm was designed as small package, supports 56Gbps PAM-4 and is compatible with Molex BiPass I/O. Uses 34 AWG twinax cable to create high-speed jumper product in 8 and 16 differential pair sizes. NearStack 85 Ohm is for applications such as PCIe-based systems. Uses 30 AWG twinax and is compatible with Molex backplane cable assemblies.
