Amphenol RF Rolls Out Automate Mini-Fakra Connectors
Automate Mini-Fakra connectors support up to 20Gbps data transmission.
Reportedly reduce installation requirements up to 80% compared to previous Farkra products. Designed with color-coded housings. Are mechanically keyed to prevent mismating. Are ideal for automotive applications such as autonomous vehicles, advanced driver assistance systems and 360° surround view cameras. Currently available in type A right angle PCB and cable mount configuration. Feature push-on mating, which provides audible confirmation of secure connection, and terminal position assurance. TPA is secondary locking mechanism located on cable mount connector that provides additional security during installation and snaps into place when connectors are mated. Type A connector is compatible with existing mini-Fakra connectors. Custom cable assemblies and IP rated sealed solutions are available by request.
