BANNOCKBURN, IL -- IPC seeks papers for its annual Apex Expo conference next year in Las Vegas. Submissions are sought on design, materials, assembly, processes and equipment in areas from adhesives and advanced technology to underfills and via plugging.

Abstract of approximately 300 words that summarize technical work, case histories, research and discoveries should be sent to IPC by Aug. 14. Papers are due Nov. 13 and presentation slides are due Dec. 11.

Papers should be noncommercial and describe significant results from experiments, emphasize new techniques, discuss trends of interest and contain technical and/or appropriate test results. Presentations will be limited to 30 minutes, including five to 10 minutes for questions and answers.

There is an award for the best paper.
