BANNOCKBURN, IL – Phoenix International received IPC's top corporate honors for electronics assemblers, the trade group announced this week.
Phoenix won the Stan Pizak Corporate Recognition Award honors a corporation in the electronics assembly industry that has actively contributed to enhancing the industry, while supporting IPC through participation in technical or management programs.
The late Stan Plzak was president of Pensar (now part of LaBarge).
Uyemura International Corp. took home the Peter Sarmanian Corporate Recognition Award for leadership and contributions, and support of IPC technical or management programs. Sarmanian was a former PWB president and chairman of IPC's board.
The awards were presented during the Apex trade show this week.
