SUNNYVALE, CA – The consumer electronics market is picking up, with demand (including web searches) increasing significantly, says Retrevo.

It marks the first time in more than a year that consumer electronics is showing signs of real growth, says the electronics purchasing site, according to published reports.

2009 demand has been stable, after huge ups and downs in the second half of last year. Based on the first quarter, however, the industry may be in recovery, according to Retrevo.
