NANTOU, TAIWAN -- Universal Scientific Industrial, a top 25 global electronics manufacturing services provider, reported December revenues rose 30% year-over-year to NT$5.1 billion ($159.9 million).
EMS sales were up 70% year-over-year to NT$1,225 billion ($38.4 million). EMS sales are the company's second-largest segment, at 24% of overall sales for the month.
For the month, consolidated revenues were down 2% from November, with EMS sales down 9%.
For the year, the company reported consolidated revenues of NT$51.52 billion ($1.62 billion), down 21% year-over-year. Overall EMS sales were NT$14.31 million ($448.6 million, down from $490.4 million last year).
USI guided for flat sequential revenues during the next period.
