COLLEGE PARK, MD -- DfR Solutions and ARINC have created a partnership to provide reliability and DMSMS support to the commercial government and defense industries.

Under the agreement, ARINC will provide DMSMS support for implementing obsolescence management programs, while DfR Solutions will provide physics of failure testing capabilities. No specific terms of the agreement were disclosed.

"We are very excited about the potential this partnership brings to the project management community," said Craig Hillman, CEO of DfR Solutions, in a press release. "A detailed understanding of the impact of design on reliability and obsolescence will allow project managers a level of control and insight into their total cost of ownership never seen before."

“Combining ARINC’s DMSMS expertise with the resolution and predictive power of DfR Solutions’ new ADA tool will be synergistic,” said Walt Tomczkowski, ARINC director of Life Cycle Management and Operations Support. “We plan to revolutionize product support and logistics by enabling customers to build-in new reliability and obsolescence mitigation techniques at the same time. This practice can measurably lower total cost of ownership.”
