Hon Hai’s Q1 Sales Up 44% YoY

TAIPEI – Hon Hai Precision (Foxconn) reported first-quarter sales were NT$554 billion, up 44% compared to the same period last year.
Net income for the period was NT$17.9 billion ($565.6 million), up 35% year-over-year.
Despite the gains, a spokesman for the world’s largest EMS/ODM company said in a statement that industry visibility “remains short.”
