HELSINKI -- Elcoteq has inked a 150 million euros ($185 million) deal to manufacture and service smartphones for Sharp.

The deal was announced in April, but Elcoteq did not disclose the customer at that time.

The EMS company will build Sharp's latest smartphone product lineup, called KIN, a Windows-based phone, developed for the US and Europe, according to Elcoteq.
