SHENZHEN – Nam Tai Electronics today reported second-quarter net sales of $113.9 million, up 11.9% year-over-year.
Net income increased 423.8% to $3.2 million. Gross profit for the quarter was $12.7 million, up 21.9%.

In the first half of 2010, net sales were $193.2 million, down 5.3% compared to the same period last year.

Gross profit was up 9.5% to $19.2 million for the first six months, compared to the first half of 2009.

First-half net income was $2.1 million, compared to a loss of almost $3.3 million last year.
