TEKIRDAG, TURKEY – Foxconn Technology Group said it would invest some $60 million to construct a plant here to produce desktop computers.
The facility will be located in the Europe Free Trade Zone (ASB), and will reportedly have an annual production capacity of more than 3 million PCs for the likes of Hewlett-Packard, for export to Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
The plant is expected to employ up to 1,500 people.
