TAIPEI -- Foxconn Electronics reported July revenues of NT$196.17 billion ($6.16 billion), down a tick sequentially but up 53% year-over-year.
The contract electronics manufacturer's sales were down 0.6% from June, when the company's set a monthly revenue record. For the month, the company saw slower IT demand, offset by growth in consumer electronics, PCs and communications.
Year to date, revenues are up 56.3% to NT$1.13 trillion.
Foxconn Precision Components, a Hon Hai Precision Industry subsidiary, reported monthly sales fell 37.4% year-over-year to NT$6.11 billion. The unit makes metal chassis and related products for OEMs.
Foxconn is the trading name of Hon Hai Precision Industry.
