REDMOND, WAData I/O Corp. today reported third-quarter 2010 revenue of $6.6 million, up 24% year-over-year.

Sales in Asia doubled compared to the third quarter in 2009.

On a product basis, sales were especially strong for the firm’s automated systems, up 40%.

Net income for the quarter increased 152% to $833,000 compared to the same period last year.

Year-to-date revenue was $19.4 million, up 43% year-over-year. Net income year-to-date was $2.4 million, compared to a net loss of $816,000. 

Moving forward, the firm expects significant levels of activity in consumer, wireless and automotive.
