NEENAH, WI – EMS firm Plexus Corp. today reported fiscal first-quarter 2011 revenue of $566 million, up 32% year-over-year and 2% sequentially, relative to guidance of $550 million to $580 million.

During the quarter, the firm won 24 new manufacturing programs in its manufacturing solutions group, expected to generate approximately $130 million in annual revenue when fully ramped into production. 

Plexus expects second-quarter revenue of $540 million to $570 million.

The firm anticipates challenges in the third quarter because of a delay of two manufacturing programs and a reduction in customer forecasts.
