TAIPEI -- Foxconn Electronics reported October revenues rose 21.7% year-over-year to NT$295.5 billion (US$9.8 billion) on broad-based end-market demand.
The world's largest ODM/EMS company said sales were up 33.3% sequentially in higher demand for communications gear, consumer electronics and PCs.
Year to date sales are up 17% to NT$2.15 trillion ($71.1 billion).
Foxconn is so much larger than its contract electronics manufacturing competitors, its sales would double those of No. 2 Flextronics for 2011 even if it didn't make another dollar this year. It is the largest contract assembler and the eighth-largest printed circuit board fabricator.
