UIC Appoints Vinck GM of EMEA Customer Ops

BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA – Universal Instruments appointed Koen Vinck general manager of European, Middle Eastern and African customer operations.
He is now responsible for strengthening the SMT placement equipment OEM’s European infrastructure and growing market share in the region.
Vinck most recently held the position of South Europe regional manager and has more than 10 years’ experience with the company.
The firm’s 2011 sales in the region increased more than 13% from 2010.
